Welcome to the web home of the family of faith known as Mt. Eden Lutheran Church. We are honored to host you as our welcomed guest today. May you experience the glory of God’s presence as he is revealed through worship, fellowship, and study.
We invite you to come worship with us. We want you to consider yourself among friends who care when you do. Join us on the journey of faith, learning, sharing, and working together to discover God’s love and purpose for us and all his creation.
As a worshiping family, together we are given the mission and purpose to be an instrument of Jesus Christ in word and deed to our community and beyond. As Jesus commanded: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
We pray that we may live up to this great calling that Jesus has given to each one of us as his people, claimed and redeemed through the cross and the empty grave.
A prayer for all
God our Father, your Son Jesus prayed that his followers might be one. Make all Christians one with him as he is one with you, so that in peace and concord we may carry to the world the message of your love, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. AMEN
